Meditacion was finalized in 2024 and dedicated to the victims of the DANA that struck Valencia, Spain, that same year. The piece draws inspiration from the work of Spanish composer and guitarist Francisco Tárrega, particularly his iconic “Recuerdos de la Alhambra.” With its soothing harmonies and flowing melodic movement, “Meditación” sets a tone of reflection and calm. Technically, it features two interwoven melodic lines and showcases the tremolo technique, enhancing its expressive depth and evoking the musical traditions of southern Spain.
